A History of Childhood Trauma Intensifies the Daily Experience of Positive and Negative Events in Midlife

Results from a 30-day daily diary study of individuals in midlife suggest that a history of childhood trauma is associated with increases in feeling lonely on days when experiencing a negative event and increases in feeling loved on days when experiencing a positive event.
