Can Question Wording Impact Self-Reported Concern for the Environment?

Abstract

Public opinion surveys sometimes present confusing information about Americans' environmental concerns in how they frame questions. To determine if question-framing can impact self-reported concern for the environment, adolescents and adults were presented with two versions of the “Most Serious Problem” question: national/global current-oriented or national/global future.
