Abstract
We examined whether self-monitoring and concern for appropriateness mediate the relationship between childhood exposure to violence and adult sexual aggression. Childhood exposure to violence, self-monitoring, and concern for appropriateness significantly predicted adult sexual aggression perpetration, but self-monitoring and concern for appropriateness did not serve as mediators.
