How Does the Preference for Natural Things Contribute to Vaccination Attitudes?

Abstract

Two studies showed that flu vaccine attitude is negatively correlated with a general preference towards natural things, i.e. naturalness bias. Naturalness bias is also negatively associated with trust towards science. These results provide important insight for public health initiatives addressing barriers against vaccination.
