Abstract

Research has supported relationships between mothers returning to work and decreased breastfeeding duration. However, the present study finds that educational attainment may also predict breastfeeding duration. Occupational status and social support are also explored. Understanding these variables may assist in the development of supportive interventions for working breastfeeding women.
