Abstract

We found that in bowling people are more confident in their ability to pick up two-pin combinations (e.g., the 1-2) than the corresponding front pin alone (e.g., the 1 pin). This is analogous to the famous conjunction fallacy in probability judgment, although we continue to explore why it occurs.
