Abstract

This study examined coping experiences of parents of children with learning disabilities (LAD) and autism spectrum disorders (ASD). Parents reported high levels of stress and limited coping skills. Parents of children with ASD reported higher distress than parents of children with LAD. Next steps will evaluate targeted stress management interventions.
