Abstract
This study examined the association between future orientation and suicide risk factors (viz., depressive symptoms & suicide behaviors) in primary care patients. Results of bootstrapped mediation analyses indicated that perceived burdensomeness and thwarted belongingness were significant mediators of the link between future orientation and suicide risk factors. Implications are discussed.
