Abstract

In response to increased technology and globalization, the Emoji Job Satisfaction (EJS) Scale was developed and validated against other existing measures of job satisfaction. Significant correlations provide evidence that EJS is a valid tool to quickly survey a diverse range of employees regardless of previous familiarity with emoticons.
