Abstract

We examined the relationship between spirituality and emotional dysregulation. The results showed that three aspects of emotional dysregulation – difficulties engaging in goal directed behavior, lack of emotional awareness, and non-acceptance of emotional responses – predicted lower levels of the importance of spirituality in participants’ lives and participants’ self-rated spirituality.
