Loneliness in the Lives of Young College Students

Certain context variables: social support and personality were investigated as predictors of loneliness. Various literature supports that perceived social support and certain personality traits contribute to sensations of loneliness. Particularly, this study focused on extraversion and emotional stability, and perceived social support from family, friends, and a significant other.
