Abstract

A study with 160 participants examined the claim that women’s memory for emotional events is better than men’s. Participants rated the attractiveness of positive, negative and neutral pictures, and on a subsequent recognition test, they made old/new decisions about such pictures. Recognition hits showed no differences due to gender.
