Abstract

The present study examined conversation during a card-matching task as a predictor of couple problem solving behaviors. Dating couples (N=58) completed communication tasks examined using automatic text analysis (LIWC, 2015). Regression analyses indicated that we- pronoun use during the card-matching task predicted both male and female positive problem solving behaviors.
