Abstract
Research suggests face-selective cortical regions process facial features (i.e. eyes, nose, and mouth) and their configuration (i.e. T-shaped arrangement) differently. Here, we used EEG to examine processing of features and configuration through time. Our results fit fMRI results and expand understanding of the temporal dynamics of featural and configural processing.
