Abstract

The aim of the present investigation was to evaluate the role of maternal sexual beliefs, in young women seeking for gynecological advice. Statistically significant differences were found between young women sexually active and non-sexually active women. Data obtained suggested the important role of cultural maternal norms related to sexual behavior.
