Instructor Vs. Student Gender and Lecture Content Effects on Learning

Abstract

Testing the interaction between lecture content, instructor and student gender, 193 participants were shown a video of an art or science lecture narrated by a male or female. Free recall revealed a 3-way interaction where the male instructor enhanced science information for male students and art information for female students.
