Orienting of Attention Along a Sequentially Presented Memory Array

Abstract

We hypothesized that attention can be oriented along sequentially presented information in memory. A novel sequential temporal attention paradigm found that participants were faster at responding to information from cued (versus uncued) temporal epochs, suggestive of a selective attention to temporal order.
