Comfort Zone: Construct, Measurement, and Implications for Work and Life

Abstract
The construct of “going outside of one’s comfort zone”, while exhibiting some overlap with the Big Five, may be a compound trait with distinct features. A scale is constructed to measure comfort zone and explore its relationships with various work and life outcome variables (e.g., quality of life).
