Abstract
We attempted to replicate previous research on the effects of outcomes, temporal focus, salience of learning, and consideration of future consequences on counterfactual affect. Few effects were replicated. We discuss difficulties of replicating psychological research with regards to technology changes, generation gaps, and control measures.
