Abstract
In a nationally representative sample of indoor tanners, half reported professional screening or self-screening for skin cancer. Logistic regression indicated that tanning more frequently is associated with professional screening, but not when healthcare and gender are controlled. Psychosocial variables such as perceived risk were not associated with professional or self-screening.
