Abstract

Latent class analysis identified two classes of cognitive functioning in a sample of depressed older adults, with one class performing below the other on neuropsychological tests. Presence of the APOE e4 allele, but not amyloid positivity, depression severity, demographics, or treatment history, predicted membership in the lower cognitive functioning class.
