Abstract

This study investigated the role that stigma and non-stigma barriers have on college students’ help-seeking attitudes. Results from 240 college students revealed self-stigma and utility of disclosure were significant predictors of help-seeking attitudes among all ages, men and women, and community college students. Self-stigma was not significant among four-year students.
