Abstract

Emerging adulthood is a time of increased autonomy and religious/spiritual (r/s) struggle. We examined the relationship between r/s struggle and dysfunctional individuation (DI), religious parent/peer support and spiritual growth mindset in a sample of 688 emerging adults. Regression analyses showed that DI was the only significant predictor of r/s struggle.
