Abstract

Transition into college may result in psychological distress related to changes in self-identify and self-defining roles. Analysis of the predictors of this distress indicated that self-concept clarity was associated with symptoms of depression, anxiety, stress, and grief while social embeddedness was associated with symptoms of anxiety and grief.
