Abstract
Using a dataset of drug-exposed infants and mothers, we examined the association between respiratory sinus arrythmia (RSA) and infant behavior in the Face-to-Face/Still-Face (FFSF). Increased RSA is associated with decreased positive engagement and increased protesting. However, we did not detect previously reported associations between risk and RSA on FFSF behavior.
