Abstract

This study examined the relationship between trait mindfulness and behavioral and neural (i.e., P3) measures of executive attention. Results revealed that higher mindfulness related to less congruency interference, and that this relationship was mediated by the P3—demonstrating a neural mechanism whereby mindfulness enhances executive attention.
