Abstract
Participants judged gaze direction for faces previously encountered in a joint gaze task. Identities that participants could reliably gaze-followed elicited a larger direct gaze bias than non-joint gaze faces. However, interactions as a gaze leader did not modulate direct gaze bias for joint or non-joint gaze identities.
