Abstract

Current study explores the distribution of attention over multiple moving objects by cueing paradigm. The results show that attention distributed over objects is constrained by their latent hierarchical structure. Our results also imply that both the construction of hierarchical representation and the attention to that representation are spontaneous and automatic.
