Graphic Novel Reading Comprehension in Children with Pure Dyslexia or Comorbid Reading and Oral Language Difficulties

Abstract
This study aims to test whether graphic novel can facilitate reading comprehension in dyslexic children. The participants were asked to complete a graphic novel reading comprehension test and a set of visual-linguistic tests. The results showed that dyslexic children’s performances in graphic novel reading comprehension were comparable to normal readers.
