Abstract

The current study investigates the influence of military deployment on the non-deployed spouse (N=86). The results show that greater trauma history and attachment anxiety predict poorer psychological adjustment (greater loneliness, lower life satisfaction, greater depression), and a more negative psychological state regarding the reunion, as indexed via linguistic analysis.
