‘Flow-Ers’ through the Lens of the Hexaco Personality Model

Abstract

Recent studies using the Five Factor Model of personality to predict Csikszentmihalyi’s flow, point to the role of Neuroticism, Conscientiousness, and Extraversion in ‘flow-ers’. Using the HEXACO model, we found similar relationships with moderate effects (r ≥ .30) for these factors, and also for Agreeableness but not Honesty-Humility.
