Abstract

This is the first study that used college level mathematical problems to investigate the links between spatial skills and mathematical achievement. Hypothesis 1: The relationship between gender and math anxiety is mediated by spatial skills. Hypothesis 2: Higher math anxiety is associated with a stronger spatial-mathematical achievement relationship.
