Initial Levels of Stress and Present Control Predict Response to an Online Stress-Management Intervention: An Analysis Using Latent Growth Models

Abstract

We used latent class growth analysis and growth mixture modeling to determine if there are multiple subpopulations of responders to an online stress-management intervention (N = 556 college students). A one-class model fit best. In addition, students higher in stress and lower in present control benefitted most from the intervention.
