Abstract

This correlational study examined associations of personality with predicted affect for an extraverted activity. Congruent with hypotheses, multiple regression analyses revealed extraversion, agreeableness, and conscientiousness were associated positively, while neuroticism negatively, with predicted positive affect, with contrasting associations for negative affect. Interestingly, openness had a positive association with negative affect.
