Abstract

Information processing speed was assessed in HIV+ and HIV- adults. Differences were noticeably larger on traditional neuropsychological tests compared to reaction time measures. Thus specific test demands make an important difference, suggesting more refined constructs be used involving cognitive processes as distinct from those with cognitive and substantial motor processes.
