Abstract

Previous research indicates that possessing an insecure attachment style can have deleterious effects on psychological well-being. Results from an online study among a sample of college students indicate the relationship between insecure attachment and negative mental health outcomes is mediated by beliefs about benevolence of world and benevolence of people.
