Abstract

Taking a self-determination theory lens as the guiding theoretical framework, current research suggests that privacy leads to creativity through psychological empowerment.
Data of 214 employees from 35 teams supports the relationship. In addition, results indicate that introversion significantly moderates the mediated relationship between privacy and creativity through psychological empowerment.
