An Experimental Investigation of Job Insecurity: The Effectiveness of Different Manipulations and Measures

Abstract
We manipulated accessibility of job insecurity and examined the impacts on both a word recognition task and a questionnaire. Participants were primed with a video about automation or a personal work experience questionnaire as manipulations. Findings indicate people took more time to process the conception of job insecurity in general.
