Abstract

Event centrality plays a significant role in prolonged grief, above and beyond social support, negative religious coping, problem-focused disengagement coping, and emotion-focused engagement coping. In addition to event centrality, time since loss, positive religious coping, problem-focused engagement coping, and emotion-focused disengagement coping are significant predictors of prolonged grief.
