Abstract
This study examined the effect of anonymous résumés on perceptions of job candidates. Although there was no evidence of overt discrimination, our findings indicated that participants may have displayed “subtle discrimination” by being more likely to perceive an anonymous applicant as a White male than any other race or gender.
