Abstract

People’s ability to integrate across different cues may underpin social ability. We asked whether self-reported social ability would relate to cue integration and how early cue-reliability shapes learning. Results suggested that participants reporting worse social ability were less responsive to social cues but only when those cues were initially unreliable.
