Abstract

The WISC-V provides a general ability score and five index scores representing cognitive domains. Publishers established structural validity, specifying a higher-order factor model. However, some criticize lacking alternative models. The five-factor model was conceptualized using higher-order and bifactor approaches using Canadian standardization data. Fit indices were compared and are discussed.
