Abstract

We hypothesized that demographic factors would significantly moderate the relationships between emotional reactivity to traumatic events and PTG and PTSD symptomology. A study of 963 participants found significant regressions for these relationships. Ethnicity, gender, and sexual orientation moderated the relationship to PTSD, whereas PTG had one significant moderator: sexual orientation.
