The Relationship between General Life Purpose, Well-Being, Perceived Barriers, and Mentoring Guidance Among College Students

Abstract

The relationships between sense of general life purpose, perceived well-being, perceived personal barriers, and mentoring guidance were examined among 1,609 college undergraduates. Significant correlations were found between well-being, barriers, life purpose, and mentoring guidance experience. Barriers and mentoring guidance were examined as moderators of the well-being and life purpose relationship.
