The Effect of Dance Experience on Mental Rotation Skills in College Students

Abstract
An examination of dance experience on mental rotation abilities and mental strategies in 48 dancer/non-dancer participants completing mental rotation tasks (MRTs) revealed no significant difference in strategies used to complete the MRTs, however, dancers outperformed the non-dancers in the MRT performance, contrary to predictions based on previous research.
