“I’m Bored – Fix It for Me!” – Trait Boredom Proneness and Willingness to Exert Effort.

We explored the willingness to engage in activities in high and low boredom prone individuals. Results showed that high boredom prone individuals are less willing to engage in tasks compared to their low boredom prone counterparts, a relationship mediated by the perceived boringness of the tasks.
