Abstract

In a sample of 167 adolescents, latent growth curve modeling was used to test whether adolescents with slower growth in executive functioning (EF) would demonstrate increasing internalizing/externalizing symptomatology. Results indicated that slower growth in EF was significantly associated with increases in externalizing symptomatology over time, but not internalizing symptomatology.
