The Effect of Music Therapy on Gait Improvement

Abstract

This study utilized a music intervention for stroke patient gait rehabilitation. During rehabilitation exercises, Control and Music participants listened to, and rhythmically moved with, metronome beats or personally-selected songs, respectively. Gait performance, measured by the POMA-G, was collected 3 different times during in-hospital stay. Results will be discussed.
