Abstract

Our study examined the efficacy of bilateral alternating stimulation in tactile form (BLAST) technology in reducing state anxiety during public speaking. Participants (n=16) were randomly assigned to either Group 1 (BLAST condition) or Group 2 (control). State anxiety ratings significantly reduced in Group 1 as compared to Group 2.
