Abstract

The aim of current research is to explore age differences in Attraction Effect as a function of motivational and cognitive variables. Older adults were more prone to cognitive errors, but unexpectedly they were also more risk-taking in their decisions. Age-related changes in susceptibility to context manipulations were minimal.
